I’ve been cosplaying for years but I never joined cosplay.com because when I first started, I had an anti-positing-photos-of-self-online stance.  That’s probably a good thing because I started cosplaying when I was a minor.  I don’t feel as weird posting photos now so I’m not as worried, and instead see archiving my cosplay sewing online as a useful and fun thing to do.

So now I’ve joined and have a profile. Whoohoo!  I’ve uploaded four costumes so far, though I’ve made and worn far more than that.  A lot of my costumes I don’t have photographic evidence of, so I don’t feel like making empty costume entries in my profile for that.  I have one other costume, Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh, that I could add because I have a nice photo of it, but I’m uncomfortable with posting it.  I was at my heaviest weight when I cosplayed Sakaki and have since lost a lot of weight (my pant size has been chopped in half, yay!), so when I look back at it I hate it - especially since Sakaki is a tall, thin character and I was short and a chub-a-lub; well, the shortness hasn’t changed, but….

I may post it eventually because my friend spent a lot of time making it and did a really good job on it.  Those were my pre-sewing days.
