Animation Quality of Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne

Ehh? Ehhh? EHHHHHH?!

I am a huge fan of Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. I’m pretty much always working on a KKJ related anime music video or manga music video at all times. I have a problem. I can’t help it! My current video project for Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is a new manga music video. I really enjoyed the process from working on my last manga music video so it was natural to try another one! I want to set it to a Neverending White Lights song, because their tracks are so haunting.

I prefer the manga over the anime, but that’s not to say that I actually hate the animation. But sometimes, it’s easy to poke fun at the copy-and-paste policemen, the flourescent pink carpeting, and neon green walls. (Why would Miyako’s parents choose this colour scheme for their home? Hee.)

Sometimes, the animation quality really goes down:

Oops.

For the most part, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is gorgeous to look at even after all of these years.  It originally aired back in 1999-2001.  (Gah, I feel old!)

I’ll end this post with a gorgeous screencapture of Iinchou, Minazuki Yamato!  I know, I know, I should end show how pretty Chiyaki is since he’s the main guy.  But, Iinchou…I can’t help but love the class president for his shy awkward nature.  He looks really dramatic here, possessed by a demon. *hearts*
